Two new arrivals on the Christian rock scene are proud to announce their 2012 Concert Tour.

Downpor is a hard hitting rock band from the Skillet, Kutless and Thousand Foot Krutch mold.  With their debut CD release earlier in 2011, Ended It All, has something for every rock fan.  With songs like the title track “Ended It All” and power ballad “Choose Me” being released to radio, their gritty sound and powerful lyrics have them poised to make a huge splash in Christian music.   In fact, their title song “Ended It All” made WBFJ’s 2011 Best of Local Flavor’s list and has been nominated for the Top 10 Songs of 2011 by CrossRoad Radio!

Shield of Salvation has just released their debut CD, Battle In The Ring, and already it is receiving many accolades for their diverse rock sound and hard hitting lyrics.  Their first single, “What About God” is a ballad that will surely be a #1 hit on multiple charts.  Their sound and style is part Praise & Worship, 80’s metal, classic rock and modern rock.  One lucky venue will be hosting a concert where parts of the official music video will be filmed LIVE.

In addition to announcing their 2012 Tour, both bands are pleased to announce that $1 per ticket from every show in 2012 will go to the Richard Tilley Youth Foundation (RTYF).  The RTYF aim is to help disadvantaged children participate in athletic programs and pursue excellence both on and off the field. The foundation works to provide a positive, healthy atmosphere for kids to grow and learn. The youth of our country is our future and we encourage everyone to reach out to them as many do not have positive influences in their lives.

Both bands are seeking God’s guidance and direction in their lives and that includes sharing their faith with as many people, young and old, through their music.   Please keep them in your prayers in 2012.

For more information on either band or the RTYF, including bookings at your church or venue, please call Nathan “Nate” McGee at nlmpromotions@gmail.com    - both bands are on the Tate Music Group (TMG) label.

Ended It All
by Downpor

“Running from my past / I’m so afraid of the shadows I’ve cast / Tired of breathing / Can’t catch my breath”

Fans of Christian Rock, rejoice! If you like the hard hitting sounds you hear at Skillet, Kutless, or Thousand Foot Krutch concerts, you’ve just found your new favorite band in Downpor. This four member band recently released its debut album, Ended It All, and with the gritty sound and thoughtful lyrics it’s definitely worth a listen.

Vocally, lead singer Darrin Keith channels some of the wonderful rockiness made popular by the greats of grunge while employing the emotional range you hear from singers like Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch. This combination melds well with guitar that is very reminiscent of Collide-era Skillet.

As musicians who live to serve God with the talents they are blessed with, Downpor creates music that is relatable through lyrics based on personal experiences that are sure to touch the listener’s heart. Don’t miss out on a chance to purchase Ended It All.
